I'm using PM 1.1.6 and when I open the private message page it is very slow (5-9 seconds). All other wpforo pages have no loading issue. Also how do I get the PM conversations to sort by last messaged. I can not figure out how they are sorting it looks random.

It seems you have a very large number of contacts. Please let me know what hosting service you use. Also please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab and make sure these options are configured this way:

Any recommended solution. Private messages are still very slow.

Could you please register new account and check it for that account? I think this is an account specific issue. We can't find such problem in our test websites. Also please let me know how many contacts you have in the Private Messages left sidebar?

It is slow for anyone with more then 20 contacts in the private messages. For our admins that have over 100+ contacts it is almost unusable.
