We are experiencing an issue with Member Search using the wpForo User Custom Fields add-on.
We have configured a custom checkbox field called "Zameranie na SAP moduly" (SAP Modules) in both the My Account profile and the Member Search Form.
The field is used to assign multiple SAP modules to a member's profile and allow other members to search for users based on their SAP expertise.
The issue:
Member Search works correctly for some values but fails when the selected value contains certain special characters.
We performed several tests using the same test user and the following values:

Our actual SAP module names include S/4HANA and BW/4HANA, so this issue prevents us from using Member Search correctly.
What we have already tested:
- Confirmed that all test values are correctly saved and displayed in the user's profile.
- Tested both checkbox and select field types.
- Confirmed that the corresponding fields in My Account and Member Search Form use matching field types.
- Rebuilt the custom field search index using "Index Members Custom Fields".
- Tested with Advanced Member Search disabled.
- Confirmed that searching by display name and user group works correctly.
- Confirmed that changing the order of the checkbox options does not resolve the issue.
The search works with TEST123, TEST 123 and TEST_123, but not with values containing /, - or a period.
Could you please clarify:
- Is this a known limitation or a bug in the User Custom Fields Member Search functionality?
- Is there a way to make the search correctly handle SAP module names containing special characters, such as S/4HANA and BW/4HANA?
- Is there an existing fix, update or recommended configuration for this issue?
We would prefer to preserve the original SAP module names rather than rename them to work around the search functionality.
