the emoticons dont work since i upgraded. Any help would be aprediated.

As it's already mentioned here we don’t recommend disabling the rich editor if you have installed wpDiscuz Emoticons and wpDiscuz Comment & User Mentioning addons. These two addons add new toolbar buttons for selecting “Emojis”, “Stickers”, “Users”. If you disable the rich editor, the addons buttons will be disabled as well. We recommend just disable the toolbar formatting buttons using the next option, instead of disabling the whole rich editor.
So the solution is easy, just enable the "Load Rich Editor" option for mobile devices.

Also, please try on incognito mode if you're checking on mobile devices. Because mobile browsers have a hard cache, you'll not be able to see the change immediately.
