I have operated a Wordpress.com hosted site using the default commenting system for over 10 years and have 30K comments with associated "like" engagement data.

I recently installed wpDiscuz with the Advanced Likers addon and very much appreciate its improved commenting features.

There is one significant problem that I hope you have a solution for.

The WordPress and wpDiscuz like systems seem to independent with no integration of data.

I had to turn off WordPress likes so that my comments did not display two like buttons.

This means when browsing old comments I no longer see the number of likes and the engagement they represent.

In addition, I just discovered that when I like a comment using the Jetpack app on my phone it is not displayed as a wpDiscuz like.

I was unable to find a wpDiscuz app in the app store to replace the Jetpack app.

What solutions can you offer for integrating the WordPress and wpDiscuz like systems?

At a minimum I think you should be able to import the historic WordPress like data because I know it exists in an exportable form having just exported some comments for a project I'm working on.

Thanks for your help.

Dear @rob-mielcarski

All the topics you created on both wpDiscuz.com and here(gVectors.com) forums have been forwarded to our developers. I’ll update the topics one by one as soon as I receive a response from the development team.

Here, you mentioned that the issue doesn’t come from the wpDiscuz plugin. Could you please confirm this?

This is a separate issue and I think is a problem for wpDiscuz to solve.

You seem to have used a different database field than WordPress for Likes.

Why?

How to integrate the two?
