This is a small CSS conflict with theme or other plugins. Please register some new user who'll have permission to attach files and send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address. We'll check it and provide some CSS solution for you.

I don't see the issue with the close pop-up window icon. Please see the screenshot:
Just press CTRL+F5 (twice) on the forum frontend before checking.
Also want to remove the | where the 'Attach files' link is please.
I'm sorry, but there is no option to remove this.
