Hi folks,

I work with WPForo Advanced Attachments, Embeds and WC Memberships Integration. Embeds and Memberships Integration work perfectly, only Advanced Attachments does not work.

When I deactivate Advanced Attachments, I can upload images, but I only see the link to the image. When I enable Advanced Attachments again, the previously uploaded image is suddenly displayed and embedded correctly. However, when I now try to upload an image again, nothing happens. For example, I can select a JPG and it also briefly shows that WPForo is working (working circle at the top right), but that's it. I don't get an error message, the JPG is simply not inserted ( it is not too big ).

"My Media" also shows no content. When I open it, I only see the working mode with the circle animation and nothing else.

WordPress and WooCommerce as well as all WPForo plugins are up to date. I would be very grateful for any ideas on how I can fix this issue.

Warmly,

Hi,

Please register some new testing user and send the user's login details with your forum URL to info[at]gvectors.com email address to allow us to check the issue.

Just make sure the user has permission to upload the images.

Many thanks for the support and sorry for my late reply.

It's difficult for me to pass an admin account. We run a WooCommerce platform with thousands and thousands of customer data. I am not able to provide full access to our backend. Really sorry..

We will debug our system to find the issue.

Whom it may concern: We found a compatibility bug. wpForo Advanced Attachments overlapped with a plugin that hasn't been updated for some time. Lo and behold, after we uninstalled the outdated plugin, everything is running smoothly now.. 🙂
