I have some users that are very creative at getting past the banned words list.
Can I manually ban users for X number of days even if they do not get tagged by the censure rules?

Thanks.
the Comment Censure plugin doesn't have such a feature. I've found the following article it should be helpful for you:Β https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-block-a-wordpress-user-without-deleting-their-account/#:~:text=Under%20Block%20User%20By%20Time,once%20for%20a%20time%20range.
I meant to prevenet them from commenting, not logging in.

I may suggest you use the "Disallowed Comment Keys" WordPress option. In this case, when a comment contains any of the words in its content, author name, URL, email, IP address, or browserβs user agent string, it will be put in the Trash. You can find and configure the option in the Dashboard > Settings > Discussion admin page.Β

We're really sorry, but the Comment Censure plugin doesn't have such a feature.Β
