How do I add direct download link to uploaded files do that members can easily download the files.

The wpForo Advanced Attachments add-on allows download on all allowed types, except the image (you'll just need to do right-click and save image).
Also, there are many 3rd Party plugins that you can use, for example, the Lightbox – EverlightBox Gallery plugin.
in case if you decide to use that plugin, you should disable the "Attachment Lightbox/Slider" option.
The option is located in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Attachments admin page.
