One observation; if you hover the mouse over the broken image, it no longer references the image file, I'm certain that it did before. Now its appears to be a badly formed version of the topic page URL.

No idea why the My Media tool no longer displays the thumbnails, have a hunch its looking in the wrong place for the media, maybe that's the cause of the entire problem.

@radiostv Mine all all broken too, and I am in the middle of teaching an online class and this is a disaster for me. I can follow the steps you mention, but I don't know how to clear the cache. Are you talking in my browser or is there something I need to do on the website itself. I'm sorry for not understanding what is probably obvious. Please, ANYTHING would be a huge help right now. I am getting so many complaints.

@tomson I have done that, everything is checked properly, I have the newest version of Wpforo, all of it. It isn't working and my students are all complaining loudly, and I don't blame them. How do I roll back to the other version??? I paid for a license on 10 sites. I can't have all the classes going down.

@acorn-arts,

We're currently fixing this issue so the update will be tomorrow. In meantime, you can roll it back. Just deactivate the wpForo Advanced Attachment addon, then delete it. I'm sending the previous version to you via PM. Download it, go to Dashboard > Plugins admin page and install it.

@radiostv and @percysgrowroom,

Please check the "Can Access to Attachments" permission for your usergroup in Dashboard > Forums > Usergroup admin page. Also, lease leave a screenshot of the addon settings in Forums > Settings > Addons > Attachments Tab:

Just to clarify, my problem is now fully fixed.

All it required was for me to deactivate the advanced attachment plugin then reactivate it.

I then cleared the forum cache via the dashboard.

Everything displays as it should on all old posts, they show attachments correctly.

The "My Media" tool on the editor works, showing the thumbs and inserting into the post correctly
