I notice it's not a forum support setup for wpDiscuz. Are their plans to have a forum set up or is there a way to do so as a member?

wpDiscuz add-ons support forum can be found here:

Each wpDiscuz add-on has it's demo pages. You'll just need to click on the "Live Preview - DEMO" button on each add-on's product page.
