Hey, everybody,
I would like to know when Advanced Likers counts the number of votes?
Is it from the moment it is installed?
Which seems to be the case with me.
Is there a way to make it take all the votes since the installation of wp-Discuz (+/- 1 year ago)?
Thank you for your attention.

Jacques

Hi @jacques-quinet,

yes, wpDiscuz counts the number of votes. The wpDiscuz Advanced Likes add-on only displays the existing votes. wpDiscuz Advanced Likers addon opens a pop-up window with all voters/likes of current comment. You can see positive and negative voters separately.

Hi, Elvina,

Thank you for your reply.
What you're telling me, I knew it.
But what I'd like to know is:
Is it possible to count the votes that were cast before the "wpDiscuz Advanced Likes add-on" was installed?
Thank you.

Hi, Elvina,

So how do you do that?
Because with me it stays at level 1 (Newbie (Active Member)) for everyone.
Here are my settings:

Advanced likers 02

And here de result on wp-Discuz :

Advanced likers 03

Everyone stay "Newbie" !!!

@jacques-quinet,

Sorry for the late response.

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Comments > wpDiscuz > Settings > Addons Settings > Advanced Likers admin page, click on the " Recount user votes " button, and check again.

Hi, Elvina,

It's no problem.
Everybody's got a lot of work to do right now.
I've read your recommendations, but I must add this.
Since my last message, all members have received points.
I just have a big problem with one member posting nothing!
And he's the only one.
Here's a screenshot:

With another supervisor's comparison :

A solution ?

I don't know if I can ask you in the same post, but where can I see the points of each member on the likers and dislikers?
Also, can I change them?

Thank you and have a nice day.

Jacques

@jacques-quinet,

The wpDiscuz developers checked and don't find such an issue. Everything works as expected.

Hi, Elvina,

Of course there was a problem.
I didn't make the pictures I sent you, showed the little problem.
I don't know what they did, but now everything's okay.

Thank you...
Still one question.
Where can I find the points of each member determining his or her rank?

Have a nice day,

Jacques.

@jacques-quinet,

Where can I find the points of each member determining his or her rank?

You can check it in the Database. Just find the wv_rating field in the meta_key column, in the wp_usermeta table via user_id.

Please note: wp_ is just a WordPress database tables default prefix. In your case, the prefix can be different.

Also, I've suggested you check out the wpDiscuz Comment Author Info add-on. Using this addon people will be able to see comment author extended profile, activity, votes, and subscriptions. More info here: https://gvectors.com/product/wpdiscuz-comment-author-info/
