Hi, I recently updated the plugins on my site and for some reason all of the featured images on my homepage no longer appear. they do appear in the post (when you click on a story) but no on the main page. theparcferme.com

When I deactivate the wpdiscuz plugin, the images return.

I have narrowed it down to the wpDiscuz - Widgets plugin. When de-activated, the images appear.

Please activate it back and leave some URL to allow us check the CSS conflict with your theme.

It is activated. I was using TagDiv theme NewsMag and switched to their Newspaper theme and now the images show up but none of the Google Ads in sidebar or header appear.

That because there is no any widget on this sidebar excerpt wpDiscuz Widgets. This is a widget cache issue, it doesn't have any relation to the addon. please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets admin page and re-activate inactive widgets for the correct sidebar. If all widgets are in sidebar please add some widget and remove it do reset sidebar cache. Also please delete website cache.
