I have woocommerce installed for the store, when I saw the integration with wpforo I immediately bought it because I need some method to restrict my content, but I see that it is not as easy as any other wpforo plugin.
This doesn't have any relation to the wpForo. This is a membership plugin.
You can hide your forums, make the forums and topics private without any membership plugin. wpForo has Forum Access control and usergroup permission system to hide/show forums. Please read the documentation and be familiar what with the plugin you're currently using.
