Hi Guys,

I just purchased this add on and i can see there is a general group already created. I modified to my liking and now i can see the Topic prefix drop down shows when someone tries to create / add a Topic.

However, Topic Prefix field selection is not mandatory as of now and users can skip this by selecting no--prefix. Is there any way to make is mandatory field before adding a topic ?

@jatin-makhija,

You should edit one prefix and set it as default for certain forum. This will remove the "no prefix" from the drop-down, so users will be forced to select some prefix or keep the default one.

You can select certain forums where this prefix will be pre-selected as the default prefix in the topic editor. The [Topic prefix] dropdown field will be set as required field. So, when users create a new topic, they'll have only two options, either keep the default pre-selected prefix or select another prefix.

Some forums can be disabled!
You can only select forums which are attached to the Group of this prefix. The list of forums is updated corresponding to the above selected Prefix Group.

One default prefix per one forum!
Make sure the selected forums don't have other default prefix. The default prefixes are indicated with an orange star on front of the prefix in the prefix list.
