Hi @niccolo-angeli,

We've just checked on your website and don't find such an issue. Everything work as expected.

but some urls are still being converted

If you mean the .pdf files, it designed to work in this way, so everything is correct.

Also, we suggest you check the following two options.

. oEmbed Functions
. oEmbed current domain content

The options are located in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Embeds admin page.

More info here: https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-embeds/

@elvina How can I avoid PDF links to look that way? I want them to look just like normal links but I don't see any option to disable that particular file, I see Youtube,Vimeo etc. but no PDF

Thanks

@niccolo-angeli,

It seems there is a cache issue. You just need to exclude your forum home page from your cache plugin. Almost all cache plugins should have an option to exclude pages from the caching process.

More info about wpForo and Cache Plugins you can found here:  https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/#post-37150

Then go to the Dashboard > Forum > Dashboard and click on the "Delete All Caches" button.

Also please purge CDN, reset optimizer caches, and press Ctrl+F5(twice) on forum front-end to reset browser cache and check again.

@elvina I did everything as you suggested, but I still experience the issue

normal links show like plain links, but PDF links show with the enhanced version, which I do not want

see
https://www.screencast.com/t/qSrp8a6KCv

these are my settings in backend: https://nimb.ws/dsQ9ve

I excluded the whole forum section from my cache plugin see:
https://www.screencast.com/t/rVVIA0ivs

I also purged Cloudfare cache, as well as WpForo cache, browser cache and my default WP cache plugin cache

Link for this issue: https://aikyam.net/forum/postid/305/

Thanks

@niccolo-angeli,

I apologize for the late response.

Please update the wpForo Embeds addon to the latest version(v. 2.0.6), disable the Embed File URLs option, and check again.
