Hi - We tested the comment "Mentioning" today, but this feature has an issue. We mentioned three users in a comment, which were all three chosen all the same way, but only one out of three worked.
Below is the comment - you can see clearly that only one out of three worked:

Could you please create a dev/staging copy of your website in some sub-domain. Make sure the problem exists, and send admin details to us? You can use Duplicator to create that site.
