I understand front end moderation is only available for admins and editors.

I have other roles on my sites and I see one of them can moderate comments as well whereas it should not be possible.

Can you please help so that this role cannot moderate.

Thanks

Hi Eric Welment,

We're really sorry, but this plugin allows Admins and Editors to moderate comments on the front-end. It doesn't have a user role management system.

As I've already mentioned the addon doesn't have such a feature.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear.

You say only admins and editors can moderate comments.

So I do not understand why currently another role (not admin, not editor) can moderate comments on my site.

Thanks in advance to provide a solution.

oh @eric-welment, sorry. This is strange.

Please provide us some examples. Please register some user (not admin, not editor) that is able to moderate comments and send the login details of the user to info[at]gvectors.com email address. We'll check the issue. Let us know the role of the created user and URL of the webpage where we can see the issue.

Thank you @eric-welment,

One of the active plugins (we guess the one that creates the custom post type) should cause the issue. Please deactivate the plugin, delete all kind of caches and check again. It'd be better if you create some new user for testing (after the plugin deactivation).

I will check my plugins.

In the meantime I need to clarify one point : I think WP DISCUZ moderation is not linked to a role. It is rather linked to a capability that several roles can share. Am I right ?
