Hi there,

When users add ratings via the wpDiscuz comment system, the following errors are being thrown:

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 787 of the file /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz-buddypress-integration/includes/wpDiscuzBPINotifications.php. Error message: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function wpDiscuzBPINotifications::bpNotifications(), 5 passed in /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 292 and exactly 8 expected in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz-buddypress-integration/includes/wpDiscuzBPINotifications.php:787

The comment and rating shows up just fine, but the activity/notifications are not added to the Buddypress activity stream.

Please let us know the versions of the wpDiscuz, BuddyPress and wpDiscuz - BuddyPress Integration plugins you're using.

ok @caitlin-jeffery, thank you.

Could you please deactivate all other plugins (keep activated only the wpDiscuz, BuddyPress and wpDiscuz - BuddyPress Integration) and check again?

I did, and there was no change. I'll elaborate a bit more:

The comment part of a submitted rating will show in the activity/notifications for buddypress, but the rating itself will not. All notifications are only for comments.

The rating is appropriately added to the database and accessible from there, it just seems to be missing something to push through buddypress notifications and add to activity.

I should add that this is a rating for a custom post type, so perhaps that's related.

Here is all right. The Rates tab is only designed for showing only the article rating (Stand-alone Post Rating). Post Rating Based on Comment Rating Field are not being displayed in the Rates tab.

Please clarify a bit. Do you still see the error message?

It hasn’t shown up again in the logs, but ratings are still not displayed in the rates tab. The tab says “no rates found”.

As I've already mentioned the Rates tab is only designed for showing only the article rating (Stand-alone Post Rating). Post Rating Based on Comment Rating Field are not being displayed in the Rates tab.
