We don't find such an issue on our test websites. Could you please create a dev/staging copy of your website in some sub-domain, make sure the problem exists and send admin details to info[at]gvectors.com email address? You can use Duplicator to create that site.

The problem only occurs with Soledad (Penci) theme's Performance plugin is enabled. I would prefer to not make a copy of the site as there is not enough room on the server. Any other advice?

We're really sorry, but we're not familiar with the Performance plugin codes. You should contact plugin support and ask them to check the issue. We'll better know how to solve the issue.
