I added the media uploader today, and could see the extra upload buttons on my comment form.  Actually testing it, I did not appear to upload a jpg. Thinking that perhaps the login information was stale (we'd had problems with this sort of thing in the past with wpDiscuz) I logged out, and was not allowed back in (the site complained about cookies or javascript not enabled - this may have been WP-SpamShield) Are there any known issues in this area? Is installation more complicated than unzip & key install?  Has there been testing of this plugin with SpamShield? Troubleshooting this could be ugly - I had to rip the Media-Uploader plugin directory out via FTP before anyone could get back into the site.

WP 4.4.2

wpDiscuz 3.2.6

wpDiscuz-media-uploader 1.0.0

WP-SPamShield 1.9.7.2

SI-Captcha 2.7.7.7

Hi Glenn,

We're currently creating a similar WordPress demo site like your, and are going to send you admin login details to allow you check deeper. However it would be more helpful if you leave here or send website URL to support[at]gvectors.com email address. The cookie issue may be even PC and Browser specific. Have you tested it on other computers?

Actually testing it, I did not appear to upload a jpg.

If you don't have any plugin which changes the default allowed extensions, it should allow to uploaded all image formats. here is the list of enabled formats by default: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_allowed_mime_types

Could you please install this plugin and check if JPG is allowed on your wordpress? https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-add-mime-types/screenshots/

Is installation more complicated than unzip & key install?

There is no other steps to install this addon, it should simply uploaded from dashboard or unzipped and uploaded through FTP.

Well, I had seen the same behavior from two different browsers (Firefox & Epiphany) and two different user accounts (Administrator & Subscriber) After recovering from the previous attempt, I reinstalled the plugin, and temporarily disabled WP-SpamShield, and this seemed to make the login problems disappear.

I am still unable to upload.  The symptom is that on creating the comment, I add an image and click the post comment button, and the form does not disappear.  If I refresh the page, the comment is posted, but without an image.

(EDIT: The login problem is related to a 3rd plugin - Theme My Login 6.4.4.  I can login if any of WP-SpamShield, Theme My Login or Media uploader are deactvated)

We've also installed WP-SPamShield 1.9.7.2 and SI-Captcha 2.7.7.7 plugins. I'me sending admin login details to your email. Here you can install other plugins if you have on your website, even the theme. Just let us know if you find some issue.
