commenter didn't post the correct format so I  updated it to what you see in the image and it still didn't embed properly 🙁

@daisypeel,

Please make sure you insert it as a simple URL. Don't make it a link.

Can you place that URL here?

The software makes it a link - people are just copying and pasting the URL. I can go in and edit their comments and it is not a link. I can see in the code view it's not a link. And yet it still shows up as a link and not an embedded URL. Here's the latest one to not show up properly:

The user thinks he's done something wrong but he hasn't. Inspecting the code shows it was not put in as a link, just copied and pasted on its own line. When *I* copy and paste the link in a reply comment, it shows up fine. This behavior seems random and intermittent; plenty of users are copying and pasting links that DO embed just fine...

@daisypeel,

Maybe this is a small bug related to the comment text start point. Please ask him edit the comment and put the URL after the text. I mean the comment should not be started with the embed link. If this is the case, we'll fix this bug asap.

@tomson

thanks for continuing to look at this. Found another comment today, here's a screenshot of what happened after I copied the url in the original comment, and pasted it in to a reply:

the original URL was a valid URL, I simply copied and pasted it in to a blank comment by itself and then it worked. Many URLs *are* working, but many still are not.

@daisypeel,

Who is the author of that comment? What is his/her User Role?

Could you please take a screenshot and attach here the Embeds Addon Settings Tab (Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Embeds Tab)?
