If I log in /wp-admin as an backend user (Author, Editor) , I am able to view all comments from users and act upon it (delete, create, edit)

Can I grant access to Admin users only and hide the plugin for other users?

Thanks

Hi chrix,

this doesn't have any relation to wpDiscuz. This is WordPress Dashboard > Comments admin page with default accesses. You should ask this question in WodPress support forum.

Well Tom I back to differ.

I have another plugin for catchpa management that allows me to control its visibility and access for non admin users.

all plugins have settings to define whether it is customizable by all users or not.

Put it this way, my backend authors are able to delete all comments on all articles upon their own will. That is unsafe.

All plugins may have control to access. But they control its own admin page and admin options. The Dashboard > Comments admin page is not plugin admin page, this is WordPress native admin page with native functions. This is WordPress area and other plugins can't say what WordPress should allow what shouldn't. This admin page is controlled by WP core. This admin page is not wpDiscuz page.
