I have just bought ReCaptcha for WpDiscuz, hoping I could deactivate the anti spam filter. But it did not make any difference, I still receive the same spam I received with the usual Captcha.

Shouldn't this plugin stop the spam? For me it's totally useless.

Hi Eduardo,

Please try to comment without reCAPTCHA validation. Does it allow you to comment? If it doesn't than reCAPTCHA works fine. It seems you have other comment plugins which open doors for spams. Or maybe on some Pages the wpDiscuz is not enabled, so spam bots attacks default comment form. Make sure wpDiscuz is enabled for all your post types.

Also, I'd like to see what kind of spam you're talking about, could you please show some examples (screenshot of dashboard > comments page) and leave some URL.
If you have other captcha/reCAPTCHA plugins activated for comments please disable those.

P.S. the wpDiscuz Google reCAPTCHA is well tested and approved that it works correctly and stops all kind of comment spams. This is a solid addon which is installed and currently used on hundreds of websites.

Yes, if I try to comment without the validation it gives an error. wpDiscuz is enabled on all pages, as it is the only comment system I'm using. I also use Postmatic por subscription.

Y use WordPress Zero Spam. If I disable it I receive an error within minutes. It doesn't matter if I have Google reCAPTCHA or not.

And reCAPTCHA is the only CAPTCHA plugin I have enabled.

I have attached the screenshot with some Spam messages.

Ok, please navigate to wpDiscuz Settings > Genera Tab and make sure wpDiscuz is enabled for all post types, even for attachments.
