ReCaptcha Error:

"ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key" - See attached.

Actioned performed to try to fix the issue:

Change the ReCaptcha key now more than 10 times that did not resolve the issue.

Please note from the front end the ReCaptcha looks ok, error is seen only in the page builder

wpDiscus ReCaptcha v3 plugin extention setting:

Is configured to show comments only for guess users and not registered user.

To do this I would need your help to adjust the following code that the theme author provided below since that will only display ReCaptcha on the contact page.

/* Hiding the ReCaptcha badge from all pages but the Contact Us page */
body:not(.page-id-1839) .grecaptcha-badge {
display: none !important;

Can you also advise best practice ReCaptcha use with your plugin? I am using the same details for both wpDiscus ReCaptcha v3 plugin extension and the contact form page builder.

Do I need separate keys or is it ok to use one key for both?

I would be very grateful if you can help resolve the two issues mentioned above.

error recaptcha

I believe there might be some conflict between your plugin and theme builder contact form module please investigate and advise further why i am getting the following error as I have tried everything I possibly can to resolve the issue but I have not had much luck.

Hi @jah-thomas,

As we can see your website is in maintenance mode, and we think that the reason of the error message you see. Probably google try to check if the domain is correct, see the maintenance mode and does not finish the validation. We think when your website goes to live, there should not be such an issue.

We may suggest you to create a staging website and check it. Also please let us know how it works.

Hello, Thanks for coming back please note I only place the site in maintenance mode last night since I am undertaking a task, however at the time we got the issue site was live. I have placed the site online so you can complete your investigation.  I am also talking to divi about the very same issue and they are investigating the issue on their side. Divi seems to think the issue may be with your plugin. Also, I have configured your plugin to display ReCaptcha for only guess users.

Since I am also using the Divi contact form and I would like to display ReCaptcha there as well as single post for comment and no other page I am using the following code. However, ReCaptcha is still showing for registered users'

/* Hiding the ReCaptcha badge from all pages but the Contact Us page and posts */
body:not(.page-id-1839):not(.single-post) .grecaptcha-badge {
display: none !important;}

recapture v3 3

Note: Currently my site is set to deny search engine i am not sure that is the issue but i would just like to point that out as well.

@jah-thomas,

Thank you for the details. The developers checked and see that you have two ReCaptcha on your website. That one which displays on your website is not the wpDiscuz – Google reCAPTCHA. We are really sorry but in this case, we can not provide any solution for you.

We may suggest you contact the ReCaptcha(the one is displayed on your website) plugin and let them know about the issue.
