Finally, you can use the new Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA with wpDiscuz. This version of reCAPTCHA came as a result of quite obvious realization that bots got advanced enough to read CAPTCHA images better than most humans. So instead of making it harder for humans, there has to be a way to make this check easy for you, yet somewhat effective for keeping bots away. So and this is the best way, your commenters will be happy to pass the CAPTCHA with only one click on reCAPTCHA checkbox. This addon will increase your website comments, it’ll protect those from spam and abuse while letting real people pass through with ease.
Installation and Configuration
- This addon installs like any other plugin for WordPress.

Once the plugin is active, go to WordPress Dashboard > Comments > wpDiscuz Settings > Addons Tab > Google reCAPTCHA subTab to begin configuration.

- Then please register you domain with Google to obtain the Site Key and Secret Key. Then insert those keys in according fields .
- Choose the language and style and click on [Save Changes] button.
That’s it. Just enjoy easy commenting with highest spam protection.
Pre Sale Support
Hey ( from Paris, France ), is there some issue using reCaptcha addon with wpdiscuz and, in the same time for a contact form ( Forminator ), already using is proper reCaptcha config ?
We see neither wpDiscuz nor the wpDiscuz – Google reCAPTCHA addon on your website.
regarding the reCaptcha addon there are some irritations on your website. I hold once: In the WPDiscuz plugin is the Google reCAPTCHA version 2 integrated. The wpDiscuz reCAPTCHA addon is supposed to include version 3, it says here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/google-recaptcha/. A little further down, however, only version 2 is mentioned: And it explicitly states to create and enter the API key for version 2, and not the API key for version 3. And also on your page of the wpDiscuz reCAPTCHA addon https://gvectors.com/product/wpdiscuz-recaptcha/ it only talks about version 2. But version 2 is integrated in the WPDiscuz plugin, as already mentioned. So much for the contradictory statements that cause irritation. Perhaps you can help clarify in advance of a purchase?!
With best regards
thank you very much for your reply, which has removed my irritation. 👍
With best regards!
The product page isn’t updated yet. You can check the addon here: https://addons.wpdiscuz.com/
On each product page, you can see the reCAPTCHA V3.
We’re really sorry, but the reCAPTCHA add-on doesn’t support deferring. However, it doesn’t impact the page speed score anyway.
You can check it for example here: https://addons.wpdiscuz.com/wpdiscuz-voice-commenting/
Thanks Astghik. Is that behavior the same as the free reCAPTCHA v2 that is built-in to WPDiscuz? I ask because with reCAPTCHA v2, pagespeed is significantly impacted due to the recaptcha__en.js being “unused”, i.e. because it is “below the fold” content that is not lazy loaded. I’m just curious whether or not this reCAPTCHA v3 add-on may potentially run into the same issue.
As we’ve already mentioned both ReCaptcha v2 and v3 don’t support deferring. The difference between v2 and v3 is that in the case of the v3 is being displayed once. However, we’re not sure how this affects the page loading on your website.
Does wp-DISCUZ reCAPTCHA provide invisible security for non-wp-DISCUZ forms on your site?
We’re really sorry, but all wpDiscuz addons are designed for the wpDiscuz plugin. There is no way to use theme separately. This addon protects only your website comments from spam and abuse while letting real people pass through with ease.
Hello! Tell me please why is this plugin needed if in wpDiscuz7 already have built recaptcha?
The wpDiscuz 7 release was yesterday, so we’ve not managed to update the reCAPTCHA addon information yet.
The answer is simple. wpDiscuz 7 comes with the version 2 “I’m not a Robot” reCAPTCHA checkbox. But the addon brings you the v3 Invisible reCAPTCHA. Please read the documentation here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/google-recaptcha/
Thanks for your response and for great update. It’s really cool.
Here you can find it:
Please let us know if you have problems with the addon work. It’d be better if you open a new support topic and let us know the issue you’ve faced.
Captcha not working for 7 days on my site…
This is not a right place for support questions.
Please open a new support topic on the gVectors.com forum. I’d also suggest you check the solution in this support topic: https://gvectors.com/forum/google-recaptcha/invalid-captcha-code-4/#post-21300
Hi I purchased your google captcha add on for the form and it does not appear. I’m using the wordpress 2018 theme. I have also put in all my creds. Please advise. Thanks
Please make sure you’ve configured the reCAPTCHA API Keys in Dashboard > Comments > wpDiscuz Settings > Addons Tab > Google reCAPTCHA Tab. For further questions you should open a new support topic in our Support Forum: https://gvectors.com/forum/ This is not a right place for support questions.
works great now thanks
hi, we are looking into adding recaptcha v3 site-wide soon. any chance of using this with wpdiscuz as well?
Any idea when Invisible reCAPTCHA will be available ?
Does it support Invisible reCAPTCHA?
I’m sorry but not yet.
Does the Regular License include sub sites? Like … search.google.com – house.google.com – findme.google.com?
I’m sorry but the Single Site License can only be used on one website, it doesn’t matter the website domain is sub-dmain or a main domain.
Can I upgrade to a 3 Site license later and only pay the difference?
I’m sorry but not. Our licenses are not upgrade-able. You should buy a new license.
Are there renewal discounts on add-ons?
When the license is expired you’re getting message with 20% discount notification. But this only available for next 10 days. For any case if you don’t see 20% discount on checkout page please contact us for discount coupon.
This is yearly based subscription or just one-off purchase?
One year free upgrades to all future releases. After one year you should renew your license to get product updates. However you’ll still be able to use the version you have for unlimited time.
After activation, is it bound to the domain or can I remove it later and activate it on another? I am using a different domain for testing purposes right now and would like to know if switching would be easy.
I’d recommend to only activate it on the final domain. You’ll not have any limitation during the testing. However if for some reason you’ve already activated just let us know once you want to move it to the final website, we’ll switch your key to that domain quickly and without any issue. Does this plugin work with WPforo too?
This is only designed for wpDiscuz, wpDiscuz comment form is AJAX powered and dynamic so the simple reCAPTCHA plugins have no chance to work with, this is the reason of separate addon development. But wpForo login and register forms are simple pages you can use WordPress reCAPTCHA plugins. For example this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/fast-secure-recaptcha/
