Hello, we have two problems that we need help with.

1. We created some custom fields and added them under the relevant tabs in the Profile Tab Manager. However, if a user tries to edit the account, they don't see the fields we've created, only the default ones.

We've checked the permissions, profile page settings and everything. It all seems fine. Attaching screenshots for reference.

2. I bought the license for one site and activated it on my staging site to test it out. Now we've moved everything to our live site. However, I can't seem to use the license key for the live site even after disabling and wpforo on our staging site. Can you help me activate my license for my live site and removing it for the staging?

Hi,

We've checked the permissions, profile page settings and everything. It all seems fine. Attaching screenshots for reference.

You should add those fields under the Account tab. Once users fill them in, the values will also be visible on the Profile tab.

Can you help me activate my license for my live site and removing it for the staging?

The key is just reset. Now you can activate the addon on your live site.

@astgh Thank you, number 2 is resolved.

Back to number 1, we did add them to the account tab as in the screenshots above. But when a user selects edit account, the fields we've added don't appear so they have no way of adding any values in it.

@callhub-marketing

You've added those fields to the Profile tab, not the Account tab.
Please navigate to Dashboard > wpForo > Member Fields, then select the "Tab Manager" menu.

Edit the Account (default) tab and move those fields into the Active Fields section.

@astgh Ah got it, I think this was the issue. Thank you. If we want our own tabs, can we create custom tabs for say education, certifications and all? Will those appear separately alongside these tabs on the front end?

@callhub-marketing

Yes, you can create a new tab using the "+HTML" or "+Builder" buttons located at the bottom of the "Tab Manager" page.
