Hello. Is there a way to change the phone number format? Instead of 2223334444 we'd like to display it as (222) 333-4444, or even 222-333-4444. Is this possible?

Is there a method, in general, to format telephone numbers so that they can be entered in a human-friendly format?

I'm sorry, but there is no solution for you. You can use some JS code to format the phone number when you display it on the profile page using JS custom codding, but you cannot format it in the phone field when a user insert it. The only way is adding a good placeholder to the field, so users can see how the phone number should be inserted.
