I've got the wpForo Embeds installed and made a topic to test various link embeds. Most of them work but the most likely one to get used is Facebook and it doesn't work. When I put a Facebook link to any public post it displays:

This Facebook post is no longer available. It may have been removed or the privacy settings of the post may have changed.

@astgh I am glad there is a way to do it, but the Facebook "share" link on their posts and "copy url" produces the shortened link that most people will want to use. On mobile especially it can be hard to find and copy the full url.

Please add that capability to the embed addon.
