Hi,

I would like to activate embedding imges from link on my forum. I bought and activated both addoons ( wpforo embeds and wpforo advanced attachements).

Please help.

Thank you for your purchases.

I would like to activate embedding imges from link on my forum. I bought and activated both addoons ( wpforo embeds and wpforo advanced attachements).

you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either in post content. This will be automatically replaced to an image as shown on the screenshot:

so we cannot have an embed option in the toolbar, and allow us to select from the local media as well as adding a URL? This is what my users will expect since they've had that in their forum software for 15-years

Please note: the wpForo Embeds addon is designed as a core post content replacer. It checks content provider URLs and replaces to content provider view (video, audio players, social network widgets, etc..).

wpForo Embeds is a 3rd party URL (Youtube, Soundcloud, etc.) embed-er addon.

wpForo Advanced Attachments is a file attachment plugin. It allows attaching multiple files, images, videos, audio and all other file types you’ve allowed in settings.
