I noticed that recently my WP dashboard response time had slowed significantly. After disabling various plugins and running QueryMonitor, it appears to be caused by the the wpforo embed plugin. I've attached a screenshot. It makes two http calls that time out (20 secs each). I've disabled the plugin until there is a fix.

@astgh

I've been having the same issue and was unable to reactivate my new licence for wpforo embeds.

Getting the following error:

Error: Something went wrong: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10002 milliseconds

Tried using curl to reach gvectors.com from the server console only to have it timeout as well.

Hi @venn,

The reason of this problem could be one of the following:

  1. You have a security plugin that blocks requests from addons to gvectors.com. I recommend disable all security plugins and test it again.
  2. There may be network routing issues or blacklists affecting only certain IP ranges. Some services (like certain cloud providers) may have their own outbound restrictions. So please connect to your hosting support and make sure gvectors.com is not blocked by them.
  3. You website could be blocked by our system. however we've done a deep check and didn't found any limitation or data related to your website domain and IP address. Please let us know when you'll check the first two points.
