I guess it's because of a plugin, Duplicate Posts, that authors are using to make things easier. Anyway, some posts of the blogs that are crossposted in the forum are having a weird URL thats relates to another post, and new posts cannot be crossposted normally anymore.

I tried to turn the crossposting off, but it doesn't work as expected. I'm stuck with a forum item that does not correspond (it has an URL from an article that was never crossposted) and I don't see how I can get rid of it?

If I delete, in the forum, a crossposted article, will it stay untouched in the blog?

This is the "ghost" forum item:  https://www.minurne.org/forum/actu/macron-son-progressisme-est-il-un-progres-limprecateur-2-2-2-3

OK, I deleted the worst offenders (after having deactivated your plugin) and it went well.

The problem was indeed the plugin Duplicate Post, that was set to duplicate the slug, too. I changed that. This stupid issue was unnoticed as we don't use the slug in the URL.

Any idea how I could fix the mess in wp_posts?

Hi @ajmch,

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with this plugin. It would be better to contact this plugin support.
