Hey guys, really enjoying the plugin and hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I purchased the cross postings add-on, but it doesn't seem to be working quite right.

Replies to the articles are being cross-posted onto the forums but not vice versa.

I have cleared caches and using wpDiscuz for article comments

I have checked appropriate boxes in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Cross Posting admin page.

Thanks,

Will

Hi Will,

Could you please deactivate all plugins, except wpDiscuz, wpForo, wpForo Blog Cross Posting and check again?

Also, make sure you use the latest wpForo Blog Cross Posting version (v 1.1.4).

Hi @willffh,

Please edit, then update the current posts, that have such an issue.

Thanks for your help. I have found this issue.

Its a conflict with WPBruiser - an anti-spam plugin.

I got this before WPforo - when I used bbpress and had an issue with private messaging spam and spam bots registering on the site through memberpress registration form (WPBruiser have a memberpress addon).

Do you think i still need this plugin to stop spam or is it safe to leave it deactivated? I still use memberpress login page.

Thanks,

Will

@willffh

wpForo has its own Antispam Tools to control and protect your forum against spam as much as possible. Spam suspicion level settings you can find in Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Antispam admin page.

Thanks @Astghik. Bruiser was there to protect my memberpress registration form. Since removing it and installing akismet spam registrations have started again. Is there any way to make the Bruiser compatible with wpforo? Or do you know of another way to protect my Memberpress registration form?
