Unfortunately, some users send a large number of attachments, which is not necessary and it should be possible to specify an authorized number to send the attachment.

At the moment you can create new usergroup in Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups admin page e.g. Limited and change the user usergroup to this one.

Then create a new forum access Limited Access in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses tab and disable the fie attachment permission:

Then Edit each forum and set Limited Access to Limited Usergroup.

@tomson We use the forum plugin to support our students and users need to be able to submit their images as attachments. So we can not delete the attachment option at this time because our support process will be disrupted. We are now deleting unnecessary attachments manually.
We just hope that the problem of the number of attachments will be solved by your technical team as soon as possible and that your forum builder plugin will be stronger than before.

Please read my post attentive. The instruction is only for one user who spamming with attachments. You're creating Limited usergroup and forum access, then set the Limited usergroup to the user who spams with attachments. So this is a user specific solution, nobody asks you to disable attachments for all forum.

User usergroup can be changed in the user profile page. As admin, you're able to change any user usergroup in his/her My Profile > Accounts page (front-end).

It will also be great to be able to control the number of attachments a user can send in a day, a week and a month.

Thanks for updating the plugin and adding the ability to limit the number of attachments.
The question that arises is what is the origin of the time calculation for when we determine the number of allowable attachments per day?
