Hello,
I am reporting a critical bug that causes the loss of all unseen notifications when a user interacts with just one of them.
Issue Description:
When a user has multiple unseen notifications (e.g., 10, 20, or 30 total), and they click on one specific notification (e.g., a "Like" or a "Reply" alert) to view its content:
-
The user is successfully directed to the content related to that specific notification.
-
After returning to the Notifications tab, all other unseen notifications immediately disappear.
-
The tab then displays the message, "No notifications" (or similar, indicating an empty list).
Crucially, these missing notifications do not move to the "Read" or "Archive" section; they are completely and irreversibly deleted from the user's account upon the first interaction.
Steps to Reproduce:
-
Ensure the user has a significant number of unread notifications (e.g., 10 or more).
-
Go to the main Notifications tab.
-
Click on any single notification in the list (e.g., an alert for a new like).
-
View the content or return directly to the Notifications tab.
-
Observe the Notifications tab. All the remaining unread notifications are gone.
This results in a massive and immediate data loss, making the notification system unreliable and frustrating for users who miss out on important alerts.
Please investigate this critical issue immediately. Thank you.
