Hello,

We have been informed by one of our users that they are no longer receiving email notifications for new post comments. They were receiving these in the past, but not any more.

Our Subscription Manager add-on recently expired due to the 1-year period being up, I've since purchased it again and reactivated. Could this have caused the issue?

When I look up the user, I can see they are subscribed to 'Comment' and not 'Post' ... (I assume this means they get emails when someone replies to their comment, but not to new comments that aren't replies)

Any ideas? Do I have to ask them to subscribe to 'new follow-up comments' again?

Hi Patrick Elliott,

When I look up the user, I can see they are subscribed to 'Comment' and not 'Post' ... (I assume this means they get emails when someone replies to their comment, but not to new comments that aren't replies)

Yes, they don't get email notifications as far as they choose the wrong subscription option.

Thanks, I understand the subscription types, but I am saying the user previously was subscribed to 'Post' and now they are not. Is there a way to reinstate this? I don't want to have to ask the user to resubscribe because we are using the post as a client portal, they are the client and I don't want it looking unprofessional - like the subscription stopped working...

@patrick-elliott,

Thanks, I understand the subscription types, but I am saying the user previously was subscribed to 'Post' and now they are not.

This means that the user has unsubscribed or changed the subscription type.

Is there a way to reinstate this?

Each user should decide if he/she should subscribe or not.
