[Solved] Subscription Manager 7.0.9 will not update.

I just recently updated to Subscription Manager 7.0.6, and my WordPress site is telling me an update is available for 7.0.9, and no matter what I do, I get the error message "An error occurred while updating wpDiscuz - Subscription Manager: Update package not available." I have tried everything in previous posts.

It's been three days. I was just wondering when "soon" might be?

Sorry for the late response.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Deactivate the addon.
  2. Click the "Check Again" button several times (see the screenshot).
  3. Reactivate the addon and click the "Check Again" button again.

This should resolve the issue.

Thank you for getting back to me. I followed the instructions. The problem has not changed. The plugins screen shows the following error message, "There is a new version of wpDiscuz - Subscription Manager available. View version 7.0.9 detailsAutomatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings page to activate your plugin." and the Updates screen shows the following error message."

 I have also visited the settings page as indicated and activated my license with the license key I just purchased on 4/24/25 for version 7.0.6 which has been successfully installed as you see and doesn't expire until 4/24/26. I just spent $29.00 for version 7.0.6. Surely I don't need to spend another $29 for 7.0.9?
