Dear support,

I am in need of some help.

  1. When user labels are activated - they are displaying fine to the admin, but not for registered / guests users. For example: https://imgur.com/AnaMYSa (screenshot while logged in with admin account) - screenshot for regular/visitor users: https://imgur.com/22AhyLz (different colors, no 'admin group' batch.
  2. There is no option for the moderation team to see which items are pending approval. Would you be able to suggest me how I can offer my frontend moderation team the ability to see which posts are unapproved and which are approved.
  3. When the 'BuddyPress' integration is enabled, and the setting to prevent users to delete their own comment, they still can through their profile: https://imgur.com/mj82VPz

Would you be able to offer me some guidance please?

Thanks in advance,
Schoorsteen

Another issue: https://streamable.com/bzasiv - once a comment is submitted, its set to pending approval + when I refresh the page, it does not show up, nor at backend.

Another question: when I submit a comment using WPDiscuz, it's not getting added to the activity stream - only upvotes... (BuddyPress integration is activated).

How does this works?

This is a plugin conflict for sure. Please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker.

wpDiscuz Frontend Moderation addon allows Admins and Editors to moderate comments on the front-end. It doesn't have a user role management system.

When the 'BuddyPress' integration is enabled, and the setting to prevent users to delete their own comment, they still can through their profile:> https://imgur.com/mj82VPz

We'll fix this in the next version.

You've enabled the comments order "Most voted" by default, So once you've refreshed the page it's gone. Just disable the option and it should work fine. More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/comment-thread-displaying/#set-comments-order-to-%E2%80%9Cmost-voted%E2%80%9D-by-default

Please make sure the "Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments" BuddyPress option is enabled.

The "Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments" BuddyPress option is located in the Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Options admin page.

Sorry, but I paid for support, and the default membership role to the admin is 'admin'. This should work out of the box, right?

How do we keep control over the pending comments?

Thank you. When do you expect to have a new release for this bug?

The "Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments" BuddyPress option is located in the Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Options admin page.

Thanks, this fixed the issue.

@walibi,

One of the active plugins also uses the editable_roles hook and removes the author table for guests. This is not a global wpDiscuz issue, this is just a plugin conflict.

You should deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker.

How do we keep control over the pending comments?

You can find it in the Dashboard > Comments section, just click on the Pending link.

Thank you. When do you expect to have a new release for this bug?

We'll update the plugins ASAP.
