Is there a way I can get round the persisting issue with WPDiscuz icons not being visible on my page? See example:

Please note the whole widget appears to be broken - no 'Like'/'Dislike' comment icons visible neither.

Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Styling admin page, make sure the "Do not load Font Awesome css lib" option is disabled.
It worked! Thank you a lot - the tread can be closed.
