Hello,

could I point me to which variable should be modified so I can set the minimum number of characters in a comment to 0 (or disable it at all)? 🙂

I am interested mostly in the comments done with a custom form, so users have to follow a specific data scheme when they comment (for example by inserting source). So the comment text might be blank, but there will be content in specific form fields.

yes, you just need to set the minimum and maximum number of chars to the same value. See the screenshot below:
