I purchased the embed add-on and it doesn't appear to work. I'm trying to embed YouTube videos and all I get is the embed code in the post.

Hi @ripchord,
wpForo Embeds addon works in topics and posts. It is not designed for Forum descriptions. Please create topics instead of putting them in Forum description.

Also, please always use the full domain name of the embedding provider.
For example, use
https:// www.youtube.com/ watch?v=vDs1xuUpKVw
instead of:
https:// youtu.be /vDs1xuUpKVw
