Hello. I have purchased the media uploader addon. I have selected all file types including m4a and all users (including guests) can upload files. However, when I attach an m4a file it is not uploaded. The message is posted without an attachment and the file does not appear in my library.

Mp3, mp4, wav files upload normally.

For example on this page. The password is thrust.

Thank you.

I downloaded your m4a file and was able to re-upload it. However, I am not able to upload any other m4a files. I have tried various files recorded using different voice recorders and none of them work. I suppose that it depends what the m4a file contains. One possible issue seems to be regarding the use of spaces in the title.

I have instructed my users to convert their files to mp3 as these seem to work much better. Please find attached m4a files that I was unable to upload.

I do not understand why some files work but others don't. Can you suggest what the issue may be?

@benjamin-hopkins,

Please make sure there is no non-latin and non-digital symbols in the file name, change all spaces to dashes "-" and other non-latin chars to latin and try it again.

When you attach a file, wait 5-10 second before clicking the [Post Comment] button.
