Hi kcotb,

Could you please leave some example URL to allow us to check it?

Do you have other light-box plugins? If so please disable either that plugin or the lightbox feature in Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Addons > Media Uploader Tab. Then delete all caches, navigate to front-end and press Ctrl+F5.

I had foobox activated.  I tried both to deactivate , clear cache and it sort of worked once. I tried with multiple images and it did not work.

I also tried to uncheck your light box and activate foobox, clear cache and this also did not work.

I have Foo Gallery which internally uses its own light box effects so is it possible that this is interfering.

ALso some times it opens a new tab to display image and other times it stays in the same tab which is what I prefer if it would show a true lightbox with an X to exit the window.

Any other ideas on where I am getting the incompatibility?

Thanks

Try the link again. You see it attempts the light box than it goes full screen.

THis is with foobox deactivated and the activate light box in your plugin.

@kcotb

Please try to upload the same image on wpDiscuz Media Uploader demo website and check how it works.

It seems there is some conflict with your current active theme or other plugins, Please find the problem maker:

  • Change the theme, delete all caches, press Ctrl+F5 on forum front and check it.
  • Disable all plugins, delete all caches and press Ctrl+F5, then activate those back one by one and find the problem maker. After each activation, you should press Ctrl+F5 again to reload new CSS files.
