Hi,

I love the plugin but I've noticed that posts with over 600 comments causes browsers to slow down to a halt and crash. The only way I can avoid crashes is by having Wordpress paginate comments which is annoying because 1) users have to reload the entire page to access each comments page and 2) the sorting options are not available.

Is there a way to fix performance for posts with hundreds of comments? Thanks.

Hi tonytank,

wpDiscuz has been tested and it's designed for millions of comments per post. 600+ comments should not be a problem for wpDiscuz. I think this is not wpDiscuz problem. You have some plugin which hooks wpDiscuz and makes it slow or so. Could you please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address to allow us test it and find the real issue?
