Just downloaded this to try and test it out and get the following error when I try and activate it:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or '(' in /var/sites/l/lob.boardgames.directory/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/forms/wpDiscuzForm.php on line 4

Tried on two separate sites. Thought maybe php version error but both on 7.1. Any suggestions?

I'm sure the PHP version is not 7.1, please check it again. Install the WordPress phpinfo() plugin and leave provided information here. The server PHP version may be 7.1 version but WP folder may configured to use lower versions, so it's important to check PHP version in WP dashboard.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. it turns out it was a subdomain problem, had to get the php updated via ssh as it didn't inherit the parent update. seems to be working now.
