Placing post comments in different places

Hello - I love your plug in, it is working great!

There are two things I was wondering if you could help me with:

1. Is there a way of displaying the comments function of a specific post in a different location.  The way I am using this is that I have the comments on a page with eLearning.  The students are able to add "questions/comments" and vote which I use to prioritize my classroom time with them.  However, I don't want them to have to go back through the course every time to find the discussion.  I would like to make a page where I can display the comments from the post without showing the post and let them continue asking questions if needed.
2. On a single post is there an easy way to move the comments section from the bottom of the content to a column next to the content?
