As i see in your Demo (see Screenshot), you've put a Button "Notify of new replies to this Comment" right beside the "Post Comment" Button.

How did you do that? Can't find that option.

Additional Question: is this the same option as shown in the subscription bar? That will be perfect for me!

This comes with wpDiscuz 5. Plase make sure you use the latest wpDiscuz version and the cache/cdn is fully cleared. Also make sure you don't use an old wpdiscuz.css file in WP active theme folder.

Running Version 5.0.5 - latest Version, no custom wpdiscuz.css file in WP active Theme Folder. As you can see in the attached Screenshot, there ist no "bell" and no code to do that. Have i to change the Standard Form?

Did you do any customization in wpDiscuz files ?

Also, please deactivate other plugins, switched to default theme and test again.

I've now tested a couple of Scenarios:

* Used different Themes: No Bell
* Reset of all WPDiscuz Options via Backend: No Bell
* Switched Off ALL Plugins (not WPDiscuz and Addons): No Bell
* Switched Off all Addons: No Bell
* Deleted all physical Files from the Plugin, Download a fresh 5.0.5 an uploaded it again: No Bell

I've attached a Screenshot with a default Theme and no active Plugins

What else can I do?

This is a site specific issue for sure.

Could you please compress/zip current active theme and plugins, send to support[at]gvectors.com email address, or provide admin details?

For sure. I will send Details and the compressed Files to the E-Mail Adress. A admin access can be given temporary with a direct E-Mail Contact. Looking Forward to solve the Problem.

Hi @spontis,

It seems that the option "Enable threaded (nested) comments" is disabled on your site (this option is located in Dashboard > Settings > Discussion  admin page). When you disable this option, the "Notify of new replies to this comment" icon automatically disappears.

Please enable this option and check again.

Okay. This seems to be the Solution. The Icon is now on Place and working.

Question: Why is this Optionen connected to "threaded comments"? I think the options of notifys to a new comment are a little bit weird. In my Opinion there have to be exactly 1 Option. Notify, if there is any new comment to this Post or not.

Whats is the Difference between "Notify of new Replies to this Comment" and the Option in Subscription Bar "new replies to my comment"?

For me, only People who are placing a comment to an Article  should be able to get Notifys to new comments.

Is that the Case when i disable the Subscription Bar?

This is wpDiscuz working logic. When you disable threaded (nested) comments, there is no need to show this icon, since no one can replies your comments

Subscription bar has two available options:

1   new follow-up comments.
This means that subscribed user gets the email notification, each time a new comment appears

2 new replies to my comments.
In this case, the subscribed user gets an email notification, when someone replies on any of comment by himself/herself.

"Notify of new replies to this comment"  option allows to get an email notification when someone comments on his/her current comment.

I'm sorry, but it is not possible. The user must fill email and confirm it for getting email notification.
