Or, to be more precise, I DID see a "sort by" option when I first loaded it on to my page.  At that time, I opted for the comments to be sorted by popularity.  The comments are not only NOT sorted by popularity, but the "sort by" is not longer visible.  What can I do to fix this?  Thanks!

Please navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Discussions admin page and ucnchek/disable the "Break comments into pages" checkbox:

wpDiscuz missing comment sorting buttons
