It was that case that comments on posts that were restricted to a specific set of users remained hidden from public view - it now is the case that all comments on such posts are now open to view while the post is only accessible to those who are logged in and hold the required permissions to view. This is problematic as comments are meant to be private. Any ideas.

I don't think screen shots will help - the problem is that comments under posts that are private show publically - so while you have to log in to the site and be a member of the specific group to view the post the comments section remains visible for all whether you are logged in or not. So if I don't have a user account and go to the site I won't get access to restricted posts because I have to log in to see those but the comments that belong to the restricted posts are able to be seen.

Hi @dwm,

Please let me know, how you've made these comments private. Also please inform us if you deactivate the wpDiscuz plugin, are these comments displayed or not.
