Hi,

We are using wpDiscuz to post the comments of our customers.
At the moment, it is not possible for them to post directly as we disabled the form on all our pages. We don't want everyone to be able to post on our pages. We only want our customers to be able to post.

At the moment, we are requesting comments by email, get them from the customers and post them ourselves with a WP admin account.

I was wondering if there is a possibility to give posting access to a customer through a link. We would send the link by email and a comment form would then be enabled just for him.

Not sure I make sense, excuse my french...

Thank you for your support.

Franck

Hi Franck,

I suggest you check the following wpDiscuz options.

  1. Disable commenting for roles. This option helps you hide/show comment form for certain user roles.
  2. Allow guests to comment. This option allows controlling guest commenting on your website.
