Hi. Not sure if I am missing something obvious, but I cannot see the "Comment Moderation" or the "Before a Comment Appears" options in the settings. I noticed them in the documentation and would like to use them.

In our documentation we have two sections. wpDiscuz built-in settings and wpDiscuz native comment settings. You're talking about one section of native comment settings. Those are located in Dashboard > Settings > Discussions page. This page is WordPress native comment settings page.
